In-Home Tutoring
Starfish extends its exceptional tutoring services to the comfort of your home. In-home tutoring offers greater flexibility with scheduling and eliminates the need for commuting to our center. In-home tutoring also allows parents and other family members to be more involved in the learning process. They can observe the student's progress firsthand and participate in discussions with the tutor.
Small Reading Group
Our small reading tutoring group offer struggling readers a supportive, tailored, and engaging learning experience. We use an Orton-Gillingham Structured Literacy Curriculum that provides individualized attention, fosters a supportive learning environment, enables differentiated instruction, targets specific skill building, and encourages active participation. By harnessing the benefits of a small group setting, struggling readers can receive the necessary support and resources to improve their reading abilities and develop a lifelong love for reading.
